La Tuiliere (DQ426)

The Tuilière is another famous design from Don Quichosse. The manufacturing is the same as our classic 425. Its origin goes back to the beginning of the 20th century when the laborers from the tile manufacturers in the North of Bordeaux used to wear it. Picasso, who had once seen the design, swore by it and it alone.

The cotton upper is an exclusive production of Tissages Onatiss, a company located at St Palais, near Mauleon, which produces beautiful Basque linen. The original Tuilière stripes are black and ecru but we also offer new designs for this season.

Outdoor material: cotton.
Outsole: jute and rubber.
